Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Onsite | Nights – 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to labor and induction patients throughout the Labor and Delivery unit
- Perform circulating duties in the OB operating room as assigned
- Manage antepartum patient assignments as directed by unit leadership
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication assessments during orientation with acceptable scores required
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience with a minimum of 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience as home unit
- Active and unencumbered permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission – no pending licenses accepted
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months – co-worker references will not be accepted
- No open background or license hits
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC Stork electronic health record system
- Experience across multiple Labor and Delivery settings or subspecialty areas within the unit
