    RN – Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Collect comprehensive patient assessment data and analyze findings to determine diagnoses or clinical issues
    • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, identifying expected outcomes and strategies to attain them
    • Employ evidence-based strategies to promote patient health and maintain a safe care environment
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members in the conduct of nursing practice
    • Float to Mother Baby unit and manage couplet care as needed; float to other units as a safety companion when required
    • Circulate as required and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Montana Registered Nurse licensure
    • American Heart Association BLS certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification (recertification required every 2 years)
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion or equivalent AWHONN-approved course (FHM recertification required every 2 years; not required for Lactation RN)
    • American Heart Association ACLS certification (not required for Lactation RN)
    • Completion of two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education; if serving as Lactation RN, certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC or IBCLC) required in lieu of select certifications above
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Minimum of one year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment with sound clinical judgment and professionalism
