    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit averaging approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
    • Function as an OR circulator in obstetric operating and recovery rooms as needed
    • Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
    • Monitor and assess high-risk obstetric patients, applying advanced fetal monitoring skills
    • Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team across 9 labor rooms, 2 OR/recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
    • Minimum 2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
    • OR circulator experience required
    • Previous travel nursing experience required
    • BLS certification required (copy must be provided)
    • NRP certification required — all lessons must be completed and certification must not expire during the assignment (copy must be provided)
    • Evidence of completing an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN preferred)
    • EPIC electronic health records experience required
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in high-risk obstetrics
    • Completion of a Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course
