Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in an active Labor and Delivery unit supporting approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
Independently read and interpret telemetry and fetal monitoring strips throughout each shift
Perform OR circulator duties within the department's operating and recovery rooms
Manage and assess patients across labor rooms, operating and recovery rooms, and triage rooms
Deliver high-risk obstetric care in accordance with unit protocols and standards of practice
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
OR circulator experience required
Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
Current BLS and NRP certifications required; all NRP lessons must be completed and must not expire during the assignment
Evidence of completing an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN preferred)
EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in high-risk obstetrics
Completion of a Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course
Previous travel nursing experience
