    Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float within women's services including Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units across multiple regional facilities, with unit assignment communicated approximately one hour before each shift
    • Manage high-risk obstetric patients including those with PPROM, placenta previa, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and multiple gestations, as well as antepartum patients at 22 or more weeks gestation
    • Titrate drips including Pitocin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate in accordance with unit protocols
    • Provide full couplet care assignments in Postpartum, including car seat studies, following AWHONN ratio guidelines
    • Collaborate with OB Laborist, Neonatologist, CRNA, and NICU resources who are available in-house or on-call around the clock; utilize chain of command and available resources effectively
    • Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections as needed and assist with PPV; NICU resources attend all deliveries
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum nursing
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
    • Completion of AWHONN Fetal Monitoring coursework
    • Demonstrated ability to titrate obstetric drips (Pitocin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate)
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate for patients, follow chain of command, and utilize available resources independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience circulating in the OR for cesarean sections
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a women's services or Labor and Delivery setting
    • Familiarity with multi-facility float pool environments
