Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Mother Baby settings following AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios
Circulate in the OR for cesarean section procedures
Titrate drips including Pitocin and Insulin per unit protocols
Monitor and manage common high-risk diagnoses including preeclampsia, placenta previa, multiple gestations, and gestational diabetes
Perform initial NRP resuscitation until NICU team arrives
Float as needed to Antepartum (high-risk, 13-bed unit) and sister facilities within the region
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Current NRP, CPR, ACLS, and STABLE certifications required
Experience in LDR nursing and OR circulation for C-sections
Ability to titrate Pitocin and Insulin drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with Centricity Perinatal (GE) electronic fetal monitoring system
Experience working in high-volume Labor and Delivery units
Prior experience in high-risk Antepartum care
