Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Mother Baby settings following AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios
- Circulate in the OR for cesarean section procedures
- Titrate drips including Pitocin and Insulin per unit protocols
- Monitor and manage common high-risk diagnoses including preeclampsia, placenta previa, multiple gestations, and gestational diabetes
- Perform initial NRP resuscitation until NICU team arrives
- Float as needed to Antepartum (high-risk, 13-bed unit) and sister facilities within the region
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current NRP, CPR, ACLS, and STABLE certifications required
- Experience in LDR nursing and OR circulation for C-sections
- Ability to titrate Pitocin and Insulin drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Centricity Perinatal (GE) electronic fetal monitoring system
- Experience working in high-volume Labor and Delivery units
- Prior experience in high-risk Antepartum care
