Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Contract | 12-hour night shifts with some day shifts; weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk cases, through the full delivery process
- Deliver postpartum care for mother and baby couplets
- Provide gynecological surgical post-op care
- Perform and interpret fetal monitoring using OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring systems
- Utilize facility equipment including fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, and vital signs monitors; chart in EPIC for gyn patients
- Float to the newborn nursery and NICU as needed to support staffing ("helping hands" role)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology
- Required certifications: BLS/CPR, ACLS, and NRP
- Willingness to float to the newborn nursery and NICU
- Willingness to work nights and some day shifts, including weekends
- Must have a permanent address more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring documentation and centralized monitoring systems
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
