Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the duration of a 13-week travel assignment
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring systems during labor and delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately within the electronic medical record system
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and assist with deliveries as directed by the clinical team
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Demonstrated experience with Cerner and Fetalink — must be reflected on resume
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team workflows
