Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the night shift
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring systems, including Cerner/Fetalink
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and assist with deliveries as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Cerner/Fetalink experience must be documented on resume
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting
- Familiarity with floating to related OB units as needed
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills in obstetric care
