    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Contract | Night Shift | Variable Schedule including Weekends | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide nursing care for postpartum, stable antepartum, newborn, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients in accordance with AWHONN standards
    • Serve as second RN in the Special Care Nursery (SCN) as needed
    • Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed, including taking Med-Surg patient assignments when required
    • Assist in filling schedule vacancies related to staff onboarding, open positions, and FMLA coverage
    • Utilize unit equipment including electronic health record system, infusion pumps, vitals machines, bladder scanner, and call light system
    • Badge in and out of facility per compliance requirements; wear designated navy blue scrubs
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor and Delivery experience, including postpartum care
    • Active Minnesota RN license (temporary or pending license may be considered depending on start date availability)
    • Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Active ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Experience with EPIC or comparable electronic medical record (EMR) system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Active PALS certification
    • Ability to circulate in Labor and Delivery
    • Experience working in a Med-Surg or Telemetry environment
