Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery department
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Utilize EPIC (electronic health records system) — experience required for daily documentation and patient management
- Float to additional departments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
- EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
