Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Labor and Delivery care including cervical exams, antepartum monitoring, labor support, amnio infusions, epidural assistance, IV management, and Pitocin administration
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret findings throughout the course of patient care
Circulate C-sections and participate in baby catching/receiving as required
Conduct APGAR scoring and provide breastfeeding education and support
Deliver post-partum care covering all aspects from transition through discharge for both mother and baby
Occasionally assist with scrub duties during sick call coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Fetal Monitoring certification required
Demonstrated ability to circulate C-sections and perform baby catching/receiving
Preferred Experience / Skills
Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred
Comfort with all aspects of post-partum care from transition to discharge for mother and baby
Scrub experience is a plus
Multilingual candidates (Russian and/or Spanish) are preferred given the patient population served
