Contract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients on a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit following inpatient rooming-in practices, with all infants roomed with mothers
- Monitor and care for patient age groups including neonates and adults
- Utilize the Omnicell medication system for safe medication administration
- Communicate effectively using SBAR communication standards
- Support newborn nursery care when infants require additional monitoring or intervention
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- AWHONN Beginner certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred
