Job Title
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Administer medications and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and/or NRP certification
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
