Contract | 13 Weeks | Weekend Warrior | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Friday & Saturday | 24 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting during night shift hours
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using continuous fetal monitoring
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting physicians and midwives as needed
- Assess and manage obstetric emergencies in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Fetal monitoring competency required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Labor & Delivery unit
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetric environment
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in emergency situations
