    Job Title

    Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

    Location

    Asheville, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio in a 16-bed unit
    • Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
    • Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
    • Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems
    • Operate Baxter infusion pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment
    • Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units as needed and approved
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
    • High-risk obstetric experience required
    • Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
    • Current BLS/ALS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Circulating experience in Labor and Delivery or surgical obstetrics
    • Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
