Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 48 hours per week | 6-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk OB care in a Labor & Delivery and OBED setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Administer and monitor magnesium drips, insulin drips, and other high-acuity interventions
- Circulate and scrub for obstetric surgical procedures
- Document and manage patient care using CPN/Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation (1 shift every 4 weeks) and float within the women's service line (Postpartum/Antepartum) as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of travel experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery
- BLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
- ACLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
- NRP (Intermediate level) required — must be included in submission packet
- AWHONN certification required — must be included in submission packet
- No RTO or special scheduling requests; must be available to start within 5–7 days of offer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) setting
- High-risk and high-volume OB experience
- Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a busy clinical environment
