Contract (13 or 26 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 | 19:00–07:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit, including LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU
• Regularly function in the Charge Nurse role, overseeing unit operations and staff coordination during night shifts
• Manage a dynamic patient census that may include inductions, high-risk antepartum, and OB triage patients
• Float to like or affiliate units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Work every other weekend and be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand for offer)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Charge Nurse experience required; facility may train the right candidate
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations are not accepted)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-risk OB or Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience managing high patient volumes including inductions and antepartum cases
