    Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

    Location

    Anchorage, Alaska

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an LDRP unit supporting induction of labor, vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, tubal ligation, and vaginal repair procedures
    • Perform and support labor triage, antepartum monitoring, NST, and external cephalic version
    • Serve as OR circulator for obstetric surgical procedures including C-sections, D&C, and tubal ligation
    • Attend low-risk newborn deliveries and perform newborn resuscitation as needed
    • Utilize GE Centricity Perinatal equipment and document care using EPIC EMR
    • Float to patient care tech role during low census periods as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience; 2 years preferred
    • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
    • Labor triage experience with QMP competency
    • OR circulator experience in obstetric procedures (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair)
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with IUPC and FSE placement
    • Experience assisting with JADA, COOKS, or BAKRI placement for postpartum hemorrhage management
    • Familiarity with Level 2 NICU care standards (gestational age >32 weeks, >1500g)
