Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Rotating Shift | 20-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting throughout the duration of the assignment
- Monitor fetal status and maternal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring techniques
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Float to Mother Baby unit to care for newborns when Labor and Delivery census is low
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Active Driver's License required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE Program certification
- Experience providing care in a Mother Baby or postpartum setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity Labor and Delivery environments
