Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a patient ratio of 1:2
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting throughout each shift
- Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, expected every 3rd weekend (Friday/Saturday)
- Fulfill at least one major holiday requirement from Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
- Operate without floating to other units
- Complete orientation modules as directed; modules completed within the first 8 hours of orientation are non-billable
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- PA Fingerprints (Childline) required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic EMR system
- Experience in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and timely credentialing
