Candidates must have an active nursing license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP are required. The position is for a high-risk labor and delivery unit. Average daily deliveries range from 7 to 14 patients. The unit includes OB Triage, labor delivery rooms, OR suites, and PACU rooms. Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, administering medications, and providing postpartum care. Candidates will be required to float to like units if needed. Work schedule includes every other weekend. Time off will be approved on an individual basis upon offer. Candidates are expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. All required documentation and references must be provided prior to the start date.
