**Exciting Opportunity for L&D RN - Charge Nurse**
- **Position**: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse
- **Must have Charge Nurse experience for this role**. This position involves regular responsibilities as a Charge Nurse.
- **Location**: Alaska
- **Assignment Length**: Choose between 13 or 26 Weeks
- **Start Date**: ASAP
- **Shift**: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights
- **Years of Experience Required**: Minimum of 1 year
- **First Timers Accepted**: Yes
- **Certifications Required**:
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced
- NRP
- **Skills Required**: Charge Experience Preferred or willing to train as Charge
- **On-call Requirement**: No
- **Weekend Requirement**: Yes - every other weekend
- **Floating Policy**: May float within scope to meet facility needs if necessary
- **Block Schedule Accommodation**: No
- **Local Candidates**: Not accepted - Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- **Pending License**: Accepted - but must have license in hand for Auto Offer
- **RTO Restrictions**: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submission
- **Guaranteed Hours**: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
**Unit Information**:
- OB Triage/Testing: 5-10
- LD/Antepartum: 7-14
- High-Risk LD unit
- 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU rooms
- Average Daily Deliveries: around 7 but often have up to 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum
- OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients as well as an influx of triage patients each day
