Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery.
The nurse will provide care for postpartum patients and assist with high-risk deliveries.
They will circulate during cesarean sections as needed.
The nurse will support lactation and provide breastfeeding education to parents.
They will be responsible for administering medications and managing patients' pain during labor.
The nurse will ensure proper documentation in the charting system.
They may be required to float to different areas within their scope of practice to meet the facility's needs.
Weekend shifts will be required to fulfill staffing requirements.
High-risk obstetrical patients will be cared for in a culturally diverse environment.
The average daily census in the unit is between 15-20 patients.
The nurse will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Candidates are expected to comply with all facility policies and procedures.
The position requires flexibility in scheduling and potential coverage for holidays.
