TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230!

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment, 48 hours per week, rotating night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekend rotation required, call requirements as discussed during interview

Highlights:

  • 24-bed high-risk obstetrical unit specializing in labor and delivery
  • AWHONN-compliant staffing ratios maintained 80% of the time with patient ratios of 1:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity
  • Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems with GE fetal monitors
  • Rapid response assignment requiring immediate availability – no special scheduling or requested time off
  • Unit procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care
  • Opportunity to float to antepartum unit within women's services as needed

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Texas or compact state license eligible for Texas endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery bedside experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate, and NRP certifications required at submission
  • Experience circulating in cesarean sections within the labor and delivery setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in recovering high-acuity patients including laboring/magnesium sulfate patients, Pitocin administration, and unstable postpartum conditions
  • Adherence to professional appearance standards including appropriate scrub attire and grooming policies
