**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery RN in Alaska!**
- **Position:** L&D RN
- **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Shift:** Night 3x12 (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x12
- **Experience Required:** 1 year
- **First Timers Accepted:** Yes
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced
- NRP
- **Skills Required:**
- Charge Experience Preferred or willing to train as charge
- **On-call Requirement:** No
- **Weekend Requirement:** Yes, every other weekend
- **Floating Policy:** May float to like units if needed
- **Block Schedule:** Not accommodated
- **Location:** Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- **Pending License:** Accepted, but must have an AK RN license in hand for auto offer
- **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal.
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
**Unit Information:**
- OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 patients
- Labor & Delivery/Antepartum: 7-14 patients
- High-Risk LD Unit with:
- 10 OB Triage Rooms
- 10 LDR Rooms
- 3 OR Suites
- 4 PACU Rooms
- Average Daily Deliveries: Approximately 7, with the capacity for up to 14 patients daily
- OB Triage: Averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients, plus influx of triage patients daily
