Must-Have: Charge nurse experience, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and use of external fetal monitoring.
Description:
The position involves working in Labor and Delivery, with a preferred background in charge nursing.
Ratios for patient care are 1:1 to 1:2.
The nurse will be responsible for monitoring fetal heart rates and recognizing any abnormalities.
The ability to float within the scope to the Mother-Baby Unit may be required.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
The nurse will work with a daily census ranging from 120 to 150 patients.
Interdisciplinary support will include Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, and Pharmacy, among others.
The environment includes monitoring neonates and adults.
Knowledge of special procedures and equipment related to labor and delivery is essential.
All certifications and licensure specified must be provided for compliance.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to onboarding.
