Description:
Position available for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
The shift will be nights, with either 3x12 or 4x12 scheduling options.
The unit operates with a 1:1 patient ratio.
The facility has 7 labor beds, 3 triage beds, 2 PACU beds, and 16 mother-baby rooms.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery training.
First-time travelers may be accepted if they meet experience requirements.
Weekend shifts are required, unless stated otherwise in the schedule.
Floating within the hospital is required; floating to sister hospitals is not allowed.
Pre-Approved Time Off is allowed for one week maximum and must include holidays.
The unit serves adult women of childbearing age.
A detailed understanding of various labor and delivery procedures is necessary.
Preferred skills include but are not limited to, administration of blood products, cesarean assistance, and neonatal resuscitation.
Candidates should be proficient in both fetal and maternal care.
Remote training will be conducted for deployed modules.
This position requires strong communication and teamwork abilities.
