Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience is required. Epic EMR experience is required. AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years is preferred. Traveler candidates must have their own vehicle. Perm address must be included in the profile. Description: This is an all-in-one Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates will provide care in all aspects of an L&D unit, including delivery, mother/baby care, postpartum care, nursery, and newborn resuscitation. A low-intervention approach to personalized pregnancy care is emphasized while ensuring the availability of medical resources when needed. The nurse will provide care to patients from infancy through the adult life span. Knowledge of age-related growth and development will be utilized to individualize the nursing process in accordance with professional standards of care and practice. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of upload. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must work two blocks if scheduled/needed during the holiday period. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be collected and documented within 5 days of offer acceptance.
