Must-Have:
- Experience in facilities that handle 200+ deliveries preferred,
Open to candidates with experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries,
- Must have ability to float to Postpartum.
Description:
The position requires a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
The unit provides high-risk perinatal care.
The facility features 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds.
There are 3 operating rooms and 2 recovery areas.
Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift.
The goal is to establish a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 in labor and 1:3 for couplets in postpartum with CNA support.
Candidates should have experience in various labor and delivery tasks, including but not limited to administration of blood products, support during vaginal deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation.
Familiarity with charting systems such as Epic is necessary.
Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities.
Must commit to working on holidays.
References covering relevant experience within the last 3 years are required prior to start.
All certifications are mandatory requirements for this role.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and may have set restrictions on time off requests.
