Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,425 per week in Edmonds, WA

License: Compact nursing license required. Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Ability to float as needed between facilities. Description: This position requires experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and newborn care. Candidates must be able to perform special procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, circulatory roles in the operating room, and administration of blood and blood products. Experience with drains, epidural pumps, and patient management involving various medications, including insulin and magnesium sulfate, is essential. The nurse will also maintain central lines and perform triage of obstetrical patients. Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs, conducting sterile vaginal exams, and using intrauterine pressure catheters. Patient demographics include infants and adults, with a focus on couplet care. Traveler staff may be required to float between nearby facilities. Failure to float may result in contract termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
