Description:

Contract lengths of 13 or 26 weeks are accepted.
Staff can request up to 2 major holidays off.
Travelers are required to work 1 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year’s Eve).
The facility features a beautiful campus promoting great camaraderie among staff, including book clubs and group dinners.
All travelers will attend deliveries, including high-risk deliveries.
The unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms.
Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor.
Staffing ratios are 1:1 to 3.
Travelers may float to postpartum or other areas based on skill set.
Required skills include the administration of blood and blood products, managing epidural anesthesia, and assisting with high-risk deliveries.
Special procedures may include blood product administration, cardioversion, and the use of various pumps.
Charting experience with Epic is necessary for this role.
References covering the last year are required.
Travelers must commit to working specified holidays and may need to float between nearby facilities.
All requests for time off or scheduling adjustments must be submitted upfront.
If a mobile phone is not provided for work duties, reimbursement for work-related usage may be available.
Completion of required modules is to be reported by the employee.
