We are actively hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for one of our clients, a leading Level II maternity and women’s health facility in Walnut Creek, CA. This role involves caring for both routine and high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

You will work closely with OB physicians, nurse midwives, anesthesia, pediatrics, and neonatal teams to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care.

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12hr Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Pay Range: Weekly ($3,400 – $3,600)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal status during labor and delivery
• Assist with high-risk pregnancies including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, twins, placenta previa, and maternal cardiac cases
• Circulate in C-section and OR procedures as required
• Administer medications, MgSO4 infusions, and emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
