All RNs must be able to circulate c-sections. Must be comfortable in all aspects of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care. Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Description: This position requires working in a high-risk environment involving couplet care. Candidates must possess skills for managing preterm labor, bleeding, inductions, cesarean sections, and hypertension. The unit accommodates L&D beds, operating suites, triage beds, and postpartum beds. The average monthly birth count ranges from 140 to 165. Staff-to-patient ratios follow established guidelines, with various levels of care for different patient types. Nurses are expected to perform duties in collaboration with OB hospitalist and other support staff. Floating will occur to other facilities as needed. Scrubs will be provided for the duration of the assignment. Cancellations may occur up to a specific number of shifts throughout the assignment period. Charting will be conducted using the Cerner system.
