Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,103 per week in Fort Defiance, AZ

Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting (additional experience may be required based on qualifications). You'll have the opportunity to expand your leadership skills with charge nurse training while providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a supportive team setting.

Schedule: Full-time travel assignment supporting Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn services. Facility averages 40 deliveries per month and approximately 6 cesarean sections monthly. Rooming-in model with Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) standards. Occasional charge nurse responsibilities after completion of training.

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units
• Work within a Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) environment with babies rooming-in with mothers
• Opportunity to assume charge nurse responsibilities with appropriate training
• Moderate patient volume with approximately 40 deliveries and 6 cesarean sections per month
• Quick start opportunity for qualified candidates
• May include occasional floating to other departments based on qualifications and competencies

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting (additional experience may be required based on qualifications)
• American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (RNC-EFM may substitute for AWHONN FHM)
