Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
The nurse must support breastfeeding and provide lactation education.
They will manage postpartum care and educate parents regarding discharge.
Participants will assess and care for neonates and address any complications.
Knowledge of medication administration, fetal monitoring, and pain management is essential.
Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Working hours require flexibility for day and night shifts.
Weekend shifts will be a requirement.
Floating to different units may be necessary to meet facility needs.
The accommodating of block schedules is not available.
Weekend availability is mandatory.
The position does not accept candidates from within a 50-mile radius.
Candidates must complete a compliance process and provide references.
No pets are allowed in housing provided for travelers.
