TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tracy, California, 95376!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Charting system experience preferred Description: This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week. Candidates should have experience in labor and delivery nursing. Experience with patient ratios and the use of electronic fetal monitoring is preferred. Candidates must be skilled in the administration of blood and blood products, antihypertensives, and antiseizure medication. Candidates should be familiar with assisting in vaginal deliveries and performing sterile vaginal exams. Experience with emergency procedures such as cesarean sections and recovery from C-sections is essential. Knowledge in managing pain assessment, magnesium sulfate therapy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension is required. Job responsibilities also include triaging obstetrical patients and maintaining IVs and infusion pumps. The ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team is essential for success in this role. Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and standards of care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with patients and families.
