Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
  • Perform and interpret advanced fetal monitoring throughout the labor process
  • Deliver competent care to both the birthing patient and newborn through all stages of delivery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Provider level
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Must be comfortable providing care to both newborns and postpartum mothers
  • Local candidates are welcome; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a high-volume or acute care Labor and Delivery unit
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms for completing onboarding modules
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to meet compliance deadlines
