Key Responsibilities • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using electronic fetal monitoring equipment • Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries • Administer medications including oxytocin, epidural support, and magnesium sulfate per protocol • Perform newborn assessments and initiate immediate neonatal interventions as needed • Educate patients and support persons on labor progression, pain management options, and postpartum care • Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies such as shoulder dystocia, hemorrhage, and preeclampsia • Document maternal and neonatal assessments accurately in the electronic health record ✅ Requirements • Active AZ or Compact RN license • AHA ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced FHM (or RNC-EFM substitute), STABLE certifications • 5+ years of Labor and Delivery experience • ACLS certification preferred • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) Pay Pay range: $2,988 to $3,103 per week. Travel Labor/Delivery RN package: up to $3,103/week (36 hours) = $51/hour taxable + up to $1,267/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $83/hour fully taxable ($2,988/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
