Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery specialty.
The nurse will be responsible for post-partum care and assisting with deliveries.
This role requires floating to meet facility needs.
Candidates must have experience in high-risk OB care.
Nurses will circulate in cesarean sections and care for a culturally diverse patient population.
The average daily census is 15-20 patients.
Nurses are expected to work weekends as necessary to meet staffing needs.
Must be willing to float to different areas as required.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
The role includes patient education on topics such as circumcision care and breastfeeding support.
Involvement in fetal monitoring and management of labor processes is essential.
Effective communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary support environment are necessary.
Candidates must comply with all institutional and patient care policies.
