Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Manage deliveries and circulate for c-sections
- Provide care for antepartum patients
- Conduct initial newborn assessments
- Adhere to AWHONN standards for nurse/patient ratios
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- BLS required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- Current certification required from AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) after passing test
- Current NRP certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
