This position involves providing care to patients during labor and delivery. The nurse will assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Support for breastfeeding and lactation education is essential. The role includes monitoring fetal heart rates and managing epidural anesthesia. You will educate parents on discharge instructions and care for newborns. The patient ratio is expected to be 1 nurse to 1 patient. Weekend coverage is required. Some floating may be required to meet facility needs. Candidates must be willing to work holidays as needed. Pets are not allowed in housing accommodations. Housekeeping upon departure is the responsibility of the traveler. The facility provides free housing for travelers during the assignment.
