Demonstrating clinical judgment in perinatal emergencies is crucial, including managing situations like crash cesarean sections and shoulder dystocia. The nurse will educate patients and families throughout all stages of the perinatal and postpartum periods using appropriate methods for different age groups and cultural contexts. Documentation of all nursing care provided, including evaluations of patient responses to treatments, is required. Safety and quality control checks must be performed consistently.
