Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/LD, High-risk experience, Circulating experience, Experience in high-volume delivery centers (200-300 deliveries/month), High acuity experience, Multiple travel contracts completed preferred
License: Active Iowa license
Certifications: AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS, AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS, Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses/AWHONN for fetal monitoring, Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program/NRP
Must-Have:
Work history/resume/employment history must include 24 months of current Labor and Delivery/LD experience.
Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor and Delivery/LD).
Nursys must state Active Iowa license at time of submission.
Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference within the past 24 months.
Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
The ideal candidate should have experience handling high-risk pregnancies and a strong background in circulating during deliveries.
Candidates will be required to work two of the three major winter holidays.
