Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide care for antepartum, postpartum, L&D, and gynecological post-op patients
• Manage patient ratios effectively: 1:2 laboring, 1:1 active labor, 1:3 couplets
• Circulate C-sections and recover mom and infant
• Collaborate with CNAs, OB techs, and other support on the unit

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
• 5 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems
• Skills in FHM monitoring and C-section circulation
