Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,862 per week in Danbury, CT

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 (23:00-11:30) Experience: 2+ years of current labor and delivery experience License: State Nursing License Certifications: NRP - Advanced, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: NCC C-EFM (must have within one year of first assignment), AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring Description: Intermittent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) is required. Induction and augmentation of labor utilizing Pitocin protocols and cervical ripening agents will be performed.

Interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings (Category I III) is essential. Management of spontaneous vaginal deliveries and assisted births is part of the role. High-risk labor management including IUGR, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes is expected. Induction and augmentation of labor utilizing Pitocin protocols and cervical ripening agents will be performed. Amnioinfusion procedures may be necessary. C-section circulation responsibilities are included. Management of surgical patients will be required. Floating to maternity, pediatrics, and NICU if needed is expected. Strong preference for candidates with C-EFM certification from day one.
