Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in accordance with the facility's patient care philosophy
• Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately using Epic EMR
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and apply advanced clinical skills as required

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active Rhode Island State RN Licensure (must be maintained throughout assignment)
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification required
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification preferred
• Prior experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
