Description: Position requires a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The shift is nights for three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse will care for adult women of childbearing age. There are 7 labor beds, 3 triage beds, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby rooms in the unit. The patient ratio is 1:1. Weekend work is required unless otherwise specified in the schedule. This position will involve the administration of medications and support during labor and delivery. The unit is supported by various interdisciplinary services, including respiratory therapy and social services.
