Ability to circulate in C-sections. Description: Position available for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The nurse will work in a high acuity environment. There will be a patient ratio of 1:1. Candidates should be prepared to handle antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. The patient population consists mainly of complex high-risk individuals. The facility has a Level 4 NICU and provides outpatient services. Two operating rooms are available for cesarean sections and other procedures. The nurse will participate in both well and high-risk deliveries. Experience in assisting with vaginal deliveries and neonatal care is essential. This position requires the administration of medications, blood products, and IV therapy. Candidates must have skills in pain management, fetal heart rate monitoring, and postpartum care. The nurse will document all procedures and patient interactions in the electronic health record. Openness to floating within the hospital is required. Availability to work weekends is necessary.
